Battery Care Do’s & Don’ts
Do’s
- Fully charge before first use and recharge once it drops to 20% (avoid deep discharge)
- Use only the supplied, matching charger in a Dry, 0–35°C environment
- Clean terminals gently with a dry cloth; keep metal objects away from contacts to prevent shorts.
- Store batteries for no more than 15–20 days idle, to prevent self discharge
Don’ts
- Never short the terminals, puncture the casing, or disassemble the unit.
- Don’t let charge fall below 20%, expose to extreme temps, immerse in liquids, or clean with solvents.
- Avoid using a lead acid charger or soldering to battery terminals—doing so voids warranty.
